2026-27 Annual Plan

As part of the 14th Five-Year Plan, Oachira Grama Panchayat has allocated a total of ₹11,87,21,920 (₹11.87 Crore) for various development and welfare projects to be implemented during the financial year 2026–27. The funds are being utilized through the General Sector and the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCP).


1. General Sector

A total of ₹10,46,76,920 has been allocated for various development activities under this sector. Major focus areas include:

Housing and Road Development
  • ₹1.54 Crore has been allocated for the LIFE housing construction scheme.
  • ₹24 Lakh has been earmarked for land purchase for housing projects.
  • ₹1,93,16,000 has been allocated for the retarring and renovation of various rural roads.
Waste Management and Garden City Project
  • ₹10 Lakh has been allocated for the third phase of the “Oachira Garden City” project aimed at beautification and cleanliness.
  • ₹5 Lakh has been set aside for the removal of legacy waste from the MCF (Material Collection Facility).
Agriculture and Women Empowerment
  • ₹9,33,280 has been allocated for the distribution of organic fertilizers to promote coconut cultivation.
  • ₹11,40,000 has been allocated for paddy cultivation development.
  • Significant allocations have also been made for women-led employment groups and self-employment initiatives.
Health and Education
  • ₹10 Lakh has been allocated for purchasing medicines for the Ayurveda Dispensary.
  • ₹5 Lakh has been included for maintenance and repair works in various schools.

2. Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCP Sector)

A total of ₹1,40,45,000 has been allocated for the welfare and upliftment of Scheduled Caste communities. Major schemes include:

Housing and Land Purchase
  • ₹52 Lakh has been allocated for LIFE housing construction for Scheduled Caste beneficiaries.
  • ₹15.75 Lakh has been earmarked for land purchase.
Social Security
  • ₹15 Lakh has been allocated as marriage assistance for girls belonging to Scheduled Caste families.
Livelihood Support
  • ₹9,30,000 has been allocated for a calf distribution scheme to support farmers and improve livelihoods.
